About the location:

Dahab lies on the Sinai Peninsula. It is this terrain which ensures the thermal air streams funnel down between the naturally eroded hills and valleys, producing the famous year round winds. With a relatively short flight and 80 minutes transfer to your hotel, it is possible to enjoy the magical conditions from the day you arrive. Dahab is very special place as it offers three different sailing areas: The “Lagoon” is a protected bay, with a large area of standing depth water and best place for beginner riders, the “Speedy”, a perfectly flatwater area for advanced windsurfers and the third area the “Kamikadze” with open swell (no breaking wave). Dahab offers ideal conditions to practice all watersports and the organization and logistics are ideal to spend your days of sport.

What do we offer:

Wingfoil foil camp – intermediate and advanced level

The camp is aimed for all wingfoilers who want to improve their skills, from intermediate to pro’s. Do you want to improve wingfoiling ? Struggling with jibes? Wanna learn tacking, jumping or doing a back loop? This wing camp is the right moment to improve your ride! Dahab offers the ideal conditions for learning and all the services to make your experience the best possible.Based on the rider’s level, the ideal equipment (boards, wings, foils) will be selected to support the best learning path.

(If you want to be accompanied by family members or friends who are still not familiar with watersports we organize private or group beginner lessons for both windsurf and wing foiling).

How do we coach?

The sessions will be done in a group but the “coaching” is done on an individual level based on the rider’s level and the “set up” chosen by the rider to carry out his session.

Your coach Matteo Guazzoni has been passionate about foiling for several years. He has many years of experience and currently develops foiling products at RRD. Former European windsurfing champion, Matteo has actively participated in world wingfoil competitions and regularly practices wing foiling, downwind foiling on Lake Garda. His experience extends to freestyle, sup foiling, Foil Drive, pumping in flat water.

Accomodation and partners:

Our home will be the Swiss In hotel which is located right on the beach (1 minute walk from the watersports center). The rooms are comfortable and you can have your meals (breakfast & dinner) offered at the local restaurant. We are also happy to collaborate with Vetratoria Watersports Center, a reference point for wingfoiling and windsurfing in Dahab that combines passion, professionalism and local spirit to offer a unique experience to all lovers of water sports.

Program:

4 Dec: arrival + transfer

5 Dec – 9 Dec: Wingfoil foil camp – training sessions and theory lessons and video analysis

9 Dec: last day and transfer to the airport
