FLYWAVE, founded in 2025 by Matteo Guazzoni and Fabio Calò, is a company that manages watersports centers with the goal of spreading our beloved sports. FLYWAVE also includes activities outside of Lake Garda.
Flywave Camps is a project dedicated to professional coaching in the best spots around the world, sharing experiences with others, and above all, further developing a passion for water sports.
Matteo and Fabio have been friends since they started competing in the 2000s and then gained experience working in the water sports industry for many years. With shared values such as a passion for sport, the outdoors, shared experiences, engagement and friendship are the cornerstones of FLYWAVE’s activities. Where we are located. Our watersports centers on Garda Lake: PIER & PRA
At our centers, we offer equipment rental, lessons, lift service, and assistance in the water.
Both “PIER” and “PRA” are renowned water sports destinations in Italy and Europe, attracting hundreds of enthusiasts who choose Lake Garda for the quality of its waters and the consistent winds that make it so unique.
The PIER and PRA are 17 km apart and can be reached in just 20 minutes by car. Upon request, we offer a scheduled shuttle service between the two centers, allowing you to fully enjoy the conditions and winds of Lake Garda.
The Pier Watersports Center is located on the North Western Shore of Lake Garda, 4 km from Riva del Garda and 7 km from Torbole. This exclusive location is renowned for having more wind than any other spot on the Lake for you to practice your preferred sport at the highest level.
By having the Pier hotel located on the spot you can get from your room to the water in 1 minute with both the Peler in the morning and the Ora in the afternoon.
Every shore and place has its own wind but the Pier Watersport Centre is the premium location, where you get to explore what the Centre has to offer- unique facilities, qualified staff and top quality products for you to live an active watersport experience.

FLYWAVE also organizes windsurfing, wingfoiling, and downwind foiling camps both in Italy and internationally. Matteo and Fabio have joined forces to create camps with all-inclusive packages and professional coaching dedicated to the water sports they love.

Matteo Guazzoni is a passionate foiler and former European windsurfing champion. His expertise extends to freestyle wingfoiling, sup & downwind foiling, Foil Drive, flat water pumping and dock starts and currently develops foiling products at RRD.
Fabio Calò is a professional windsurfer, 2x Italian Wave Champion. Chief editor of 4Windsurf and 4Wing magazines and organizer of various windsurfing clinics around the world.
